~Zack Fair X Reader~
Part one: Fighting and try to hide the scars

It was beautiful early autumn dusk. Sky was painted in several colours of red; from crimson, over orange, up to the pink. You took a deep breath of a brisk, moist autumn air and smiled contently. It was about 7 p.m.
The forest was wonderful; all the beautiful colours collided together.

You decided to return back to the ShinRa, since it was getting late and you, as a Turk, didn't want to get a piece of mind from Tseng. All of a sudden, a loud cry was heard from somewhere around you. You stopped and listened for the voice. Loud and sudden shooting of a shotgun made you jump. There was no time to waste, someone needed help - And fast!

You began to run in the direction towards the nearby brook. It was getting even darker, but it was still light enough for you to see. Cold evening breeze slapped your face as you ran towards it. You ran for about five minutes when you heard inhuman, creepy, machine sound - Like the robot. Once again, that horrid shotgun.
You stopped and panted for air when you saw the sources of terrible sounds:
A ravenette covered in bruises and blood, holding a huge sword and fighting gigantic killer robot.

The poor guy swinged that incredibly big and heavy sword towards the assasin, but the robot was faster and with one heavy move of it's arm, it sent the black haired boy flying over to one of the many trees. He hit his back, fell into the water that was a bit shallow and then blacked out.

You stood there; What to do?! You had to react, the robot aimed for you and shot many bullets, but you dodged and grabbed that heavy-looking sword. Robot ran towards you and just the moment he was about to smash you into the ground, you swung the big sword and squeezed your eyes shut.

The sparks flew everywhere and when you openned your eyes, the robot was sitting in defeat, dismantled into huge parts. Your (e/c) eyes widenned at the scene and you were breathing heavily. You dropped the sword and were about to leave when you remembered the guy you came to help in the first place. You turned around and searched for him, when you finally scanned him with your eyes and noticed him lying in the water. You quickly ran over him and checked his pulse; He was alive, but unconciouss.
You tried to wake him up by gently slapping his cheek, but it was no use.

"Come on, wake up!" You knelt into the cold water, it was dark outside by now and the only source of light you two had were tiny flames that were left from the defeated robot. You took his head in your lap and sighed heavily
"What to do, what the heck to do...?" You looked around, blowing your bangs out of your eyes

Then it hit you - You had your cellphone with you! You quickly reached into your pocket on your black blazer, flipped your cellphone open and browsed through your contacts.
"Who am I supposed to call?!" You muttered
"Tseng? No, he'll kill me for not being back already." You sighed "Elena? How can she help?!" You shook your head and smiled, remembering how clumsy your blonde friend can be "Hm... How about Vincent? He can help, but he may consider you a threat.. heh" You looked down at slowly breathing ravenette and smiled again. Then you remembered one person you could always count on and you called. It buzzed, thank goodness

"Yo!" Alerted, but cheerful voice was heard from the other side
"Reno! Are you on a mission currently?" You asked, tilting your head as you were petting the ebony haired guy
"Nope, what's up?" Reno asked, slightly worried
"Here's the thing; I'm currently with one fainted dude and there's no way I can carry him all the way to ShinRa, so can you come and pick us up?" You asked in cute voice, Reno always considered you his little sister and he could never say no to you
"Heh... Okay, _______. Where are you two?" He asked, chuckling
"North part of the forest, follow the brook if you can see it."
"Got it! I'll be there in few, don't move!" Reno said and hung up
You looked at your cellphone, then chuckled and looked down at the guy again "Yeah, like we could go anywhere..."

Even if it took Reno only ten minutes to arrive, you dozed off in a sitting possition. The strong wind that came from a huge and fast spinning propeller woke you up. You squeezed your eyes shut, then squinted to see your surroundings.

"Wasn't I fast, eh ______?" You recognised the mocking tone of your red headed friend. He gave you a thumb up as he grinned
"Get him in, we ain't got all night, yo!" You shook your head and chuckled to yourself. Boy, was he heavy! You supported him with your shoulder, putting his left arm around your shoulders which you held with your own left hand and the other one holding him by the waist. As soon as he was put on the seat, you sat next to him and panted
"Dude, I wonder what they feed him with..." You joked and Reno laughed

After a while you drifted into mid-sleep. Ravenette leaned his head on your shoulder and you put your head on his. Reno turned back a little as he realised you became quiet. He smirked as he saw two of you; He knew the guy you helped. After about 15 minutes of flight, three of you landed in front of ShinRa building.
Reno turned around after removing his head gear

"Rise and shine, sunshine!" Reno mocked and poked you in the forehead. You groaned as he woke you up
"Are we there yet?" You asked yawning. You noticed that ravenette's head was on your shoulder and you smiled at him
"Some help here, yo?" You mocked as Reno frowned slightly, then chuckled
"Don't steal my line, yo!" He grinned as he took the guy outside, with your help. You stepped outside and cracked your back loudly, then helped Reno take the man inside the ShinRa building.

In the meantime, Reno received a call from Rude who told him that he's required at Tseng's office, so you were left to take the ravenette to the infirmary by yourself. As you approached the infirmary, you spotted your good friend Solo checking up on some patients. As soon as she noticed you, she grinned and waved at you. You walked over her slowly, dragging the man along. She walked towards you and frowned when she noticed the ravenette

"Hello, _______! Who've you got there?" She tilted his head up slightly, then jumped and squeaked like a child that got a present for Christmas
"My goodness! Zack!" She clasped her hands together "I get to nurse Zack!" She giggled as she helped you to take him to an empty bed. You looked down at him and smiled "So you're Zack..." Solo smiled at you
"You should go and rest, I'll inform you or Tseng if anything happens~" She smiled as you were leaving, smiling at her.

You dragged yourself over the freakishly long hallways of ShinRa building, walking on the tips of your toes in intention not to wake up anyone, even if it was only 9:40 p.m. You looked down and were thinking something completely unimportant to yourself when you bumped into someone.
"E-exuse me!" You looked up, only to face the commander Hewley. He had a worried, but amused look on his face
"Good evening, ______." He smiled at you and you slightly smiled back "I've heard that you have rescued my apprentice, Zack Fair." You gave a little and shy nod. Angeal smiled at you and ruffled your hair, on which you frowned childishly
"Thank you for that, I'll make sure to acknowledge Tseng about this." He smiled once again and passed you, waving goodbye.

You turned in the direction he left and smiled to yourself 'I just hope he'll recover...' You headed towards your appartment, yawned and stretched your arms 'Hella long day... But it was awesome!' You thought to yourself and smiled, remembering the boy that was now Solo's duty.

You've finally gotten yourself to your small, but comfortable room. It was coloured in deep shade of crimson with black and white furniture; Those are the colours that calms people. As soon as your head hit the pillow, you fell asleep. You didn't even bother to take your Turks uniform off. You know that sleep where you have no dreams at all? Well, this was this kind of sleep.
The sweet and relaxing sleep was disturbed by loud beeping of your cellphone on the nightstand next to your bed. You groaned annoyed and slapped your hand against the cold wood of the nightstand a couple of times before finding the cellphone.

"Hello?" Yawn "______ speaking... Who are you and what are your reasons for me not to kill you?" You growled and sat up.
"_______, were you asleep?" Female voice, which you didn't recognise, asked and you facepalmed
"No dear, I was just dying... Of COURSE I was asleep!!" You yelled, causing the woman that called you to flinch and remove the cellphone quickly from her ear
"Sheesh, you don't have to yell! Now, do you want to hear what I have to say or no?" Woman asked and you sighed

"Come on... Wait. Cissnei? Is that you?" You asked, little surprised
"Ding-ding! Bingo!" Cissnei sighed and chuckled "Now, onto the point: Tseng informed me to inform you that Solo has informed him that Zack finally woke up, if you'd like to know by any chance." Cissnei giggled, mocking you slightly. Your eyes widenned and you jumped from the bed
"I'm coming!" You put your phone between your ear and shoulder while putting the shoes on
"Wanna come along, Ciss?" You asked, openning the door. Cissnei chuckled
"Okay, ________... I'll wait at the infirmary, kay?" She asked and you nodded, then facepalmed when realising she can't see you
"Right! Meet ya in few!" You quickly walked through the long hallways of the Turks' floor, taking an elevator up to the SOLDIER's floor, still walking, but little quieter in intention not to wake any of the 1st's and earning a piece of someone's sleepy mind. You turned around the corner and smiled when noticing the bronze hair of your friend. She averted her gaze from the floor to you, smiled and gave a gentle wave

"Come on, ________. I bet Zack's already asking for how he got here and who got him here." Cissnei smiled and pushed you by the shoulder inside the pristine white infirmary. You entered and looked around; everyone was asleep! Cissnei chuckled at the scene; Zack was all bandaged up, sitting on his bed and talking something random to Solo, who was smiling tiredly and sitting on some thin wooden chair, supporting her head on the nightstand next to the Zack's bed. As soon as she spotted two of you, she waved exahusted and called you over

"Zack, meet your saviour - ________!" Cissnei said overly dramatical, spreading her arms towards you in a show-off motion. You blushed lightly and approached the bed.
"Hey there, the name's ________. Pleasure to meet you, Zack!" You lend out your hand and shook his hand
"Heya! Thanks for saving my life back there, guess I'll have to look out a little better next time... Heh" Zack grinned and scratched the back of his head sheepishly.

Cissnei pulled another wooden chair from that table in the corner and sat beside Solo, who was almost asleep. Soon enough, tired of life, today's day and the babbling of the two of you, Cissnei and Solo leaned their heads on each other's shoulder and drifted into the dream land. Zack and you talked about many nonesenses and random stuff

"And that's how I left cloud on the top of the ShinRa building!" Zack held his stomach while laughing, you laughing along and wipping the tears off your eyes
"You are so cruel, Mr. Fair!" Two of you laughed and after calming down, you looked at the wall clock ticking half past two. You got up and walked around the bed to wake up Cissnei
"Look at the time, rise and shine sunshine!" You mocked Cissnei as she woke up and mumbled something under her voice, leaving Solo still asleep loudly. Two of you got up and you saluted to Zack, mouthing 'See ya tomorrow' and then leaving. Zack grinned and waved in response as two of you left.

Cissnei and you walked through the hall. Cissnei stopped at her own room, which was about three rooms away from yours. You returned to your room. The time was already three o'clock and you had about three more hours to sleep, which wasn't anything in particular. Instead, you were lying in your bed, not sleeping for a moment. You were thinking about tomorrow, your mission, the partners on mission, Zack...
'Wait. What?! Zack? How come? No, stop! You just met him, it was probably just his appearance that you found attracting. Get it out of your head, ________! Enough! Okay, let's try that sleeping again...'
You were stirring in your bed and after about good half an hour, you fell asleep, dreaming absolutely nothing.
